The first thing to do when you board the plane is to buckle your seat belt before the plane taxis onto the runway.

At 2,500 feet you will need to unbuckle your seatbelt.

At 4,000 feet, take two minutes to mentally review your jump. Visualize your position at the door, your exit, your free fall routine, your opening, your visual test and your flight test, your landing pattern and finally your landing.

At 8,000 feet your instructor will ask you to describe what you visualized. Then, verbally describe your jump from exit to landing.

At 10,000 feet it's time to make final checks. You will do a 4-points check for a third time and ask your instructor to check your closing pins. Adjust your goggles and helmet and get ready to jump.
